What to Expect

1. You arrive at the Koloa Landing dive site 15 minutes before the start, already in your swimsuit, with your certification card or eCard.
2. The guide checks certification, fits gear and wetsuit, and briefs the group on the site and the marine life expected after dark.
3. The first dive begins at twilight as daylight fades and the reef's daytime fish settle in.
4. After a surface interval with light snacks and cold drinks, the second dive goes in after dark with primary and backup lights.
5. Species the operator lists for the night dive include octopus, lobster, eels, sleeping turtles and bioluminescence.
6. You surface and exit at the landing; the whole session takes up to 3.5 hours, and you must stay below 1,000 feet of elevation for the next 18 hours.

Restrictions and Requirements

• Certified divers only; no photos or photocopies of cards accepted
• Minimum age 10
• Wait 18 hours after diving before flying, helicopter tours or driving to Waimea Canyon (above 1,000 feet)

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation at least 24 hours before the start. Cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows are charged 100% of the total. Reservations made within 24 hours of the start are final and non-refundable. Arriving without a valid certification card counts as a day-of cancellation. Checked October 2026 on Greetwell.
