Privacy Policy
Effective October 3, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Tripreviewall ("we", "us") collects when you use tripreviewall.com, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Tripreviewall is operated by Popotours, which is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at contact@tripreviewall.com.
The short version
- You can read every page without an account. We never ask for payment details — all bookings happen on the operator's or partner's own site.
- We only collect what you type into our contact and transportation forms, basic server logs, and anonymous counts of booking-link clicks.
- Optional analytics and marketing cookies are off by default and only load if you choose "Accept". You can change your mind any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, optional phone number and your message. When you request a transportation quote we also collect the service, date, pickup location, number of passengers and any notes you add. With each form submission we store the IP address and browser type it came from, to help us block spam and abuse.
Booking-link clicks. When you click a booking button (FareHarbor, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide or Viator), our server records which tour, which platform and when. This record contains no IP address, no cookie and nothing that identifies you.
Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server automatically logs technical details of each request — IP address, page requested, date and time, referring page and browser type. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, and they are deleted automatically after a short period (typically about two weeks).
Analytics and marketing cookies (only with your consent). If you click "Accept" in our cookie banner, we load Google Tag Manager and the tools configured in it, such as Google Analytics (and, if we enable it, an advertising measurement pixel such as Meta Pixel). These tools set cookies or similar identifiers and send usage data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type — to the provider. If you click "Reject", or make no choice, none of these tools are loaded.
Your cookie choice. We store your Accept/Reject choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every page. This is strictly necessary and contains no personal information.
Embedded content and partner sites
Some pages embed content from other companies: a Google Maps map and a FareHarbor booking calendar on tour pages, and occasionally YouTube videos in articles. When a page with an embed loads, your browser connects directly to that company, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. When you follow a booking link to FareHarbor, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide or Viator, that site sets its own cookies — including cookies that tell it the visit came from us so we can be paid a commission (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Anything you enter on those sites is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
How we use your information
- To reply to your message or prepare the transportation quote you asked for.
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam and fix problems.
- To understand which tours and guides are most useful, using anonymous click counts and — only if you accept — analytics.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal bases (visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland)
- Steps you asked us to take and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries — for contact and quote forms.
- Legitimate interests in running a secure, working website — for server logs, spam prevention and anonymous click counts.
- Your consent — for analytics and marketing cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings"; this doesn't affect processing that happened before.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that run the site for us under contract: our hosting provider (servers located in the United States) and our email delivery provider, which delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Google (and any other analytics or advertising tool configured in Google Tag Manager) — only if you accept analytics and marketing cookies.
- Authorities, if required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you have accepted marketing cookies; rejecting them (or never accepting) opts you out. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a request to opt out.
International transfers
We are based in, and our servers are located in, the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where the law of your country requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where our providers participate in it.
How long we keep it
- Contact and quote requests: for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months.
- Server logs: about two weeks.
- Anonymous click counts: kept indefinitely, as they contain no personal information.
- Analytics data: according to the retention settings of the analytics provider (for Google Analytics, no longer than 14 months).
Your rights
EEA, UK and Switzerland. You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time, and you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
California and other U.S. states with privacy laws. You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we don't sell it; see above for sharing). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers and contact details (from forms), internet activity information (server logs and, with consent, analytics) and approximate location derived from IP address, for the purposes described above.
To make a request, email contact@tripreviewall.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within the time the law requires (one month in the EEA/UK, 45 days in California). You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning travel. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to the information we store is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit what we collect in the first place.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the effective date above. For significant changes we will make the update clearly visible on the site.
