Overview

The Waialua beachfront ATV tour at North Shore Stables is a 60-minute guided follow-the-leader ride on individual Kawasaki ATVs across a 67-acre oceanfront farm on former Dole land, with a native plant planting and farm animal stop. It suits families with riders aged 12 and up and passengers from 8; the drawbacks are the short ride at about 10 mph and the $138 price for one hour.

Highlights

  • Each guest drives their own 4-wheel Kawasaki ATV; medium ATVs for ages 12 and up (160 lb limit), large for 16 and up (420 lb limit), passengers from age 8 on a large ATV (Greetwell listing).
  • Plant a native Hawaiian shoreline plant before the ride and meet goats, sheep, cows, pigs and chickens after it, with feed available to buy.
  • Guided ride at about 10 mph with a few faster sections, per the Greetwell review summary.
  • Helmet, goggles, head sock, cold water and cold towels included; rides run daily 8 AM to 5 PM at 67-221 Waialua Beach Road.
  • Google rating 4.9 from 6,800 reviews as of October 2026 with 99% recommending it.
