What to Expect

1. Meet the guide at the HFN gas station, 16-570 Kipimana St in Keaau, and transfer about 35 minutes to Kalapana Beach Road.
2. Ride the first section across the 2018 lava flow, stopping at cliffside beaches, lava arches and tree tunnels while the guide explains the eruption.
3. Continue to the new black sand beach created by the 2018 flow before loading the bikes for the drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
4. Break for lunch at one of the restaurants inside the park; the meal is not included in the fare.
5. Ride through the park with stops at the main sites, which may include the lava tube, steam vents and, when conditions allow, a view of the lava lake.
6. Return to the Keaau meeting point about 8 hours after you started.

Cancellation Policy
